Labels: NEAR MINT

All are clean with nothing more than a small handful of well-aimed spindle trails around each centre hole

Visual: NEAR MINT

Factory-fresh, deep-gloss playing surfaces which appear 'as new' in strong daylight. Close and careful examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than a faint 5mm scuff at the end of the last track on side D, together with a few barely visible paper hairlines. Each side of this well looked-after set lies 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Sound Quality: NEAR MINT

Played with care just a few times on quality equipment, all tracks sound clean & clear with all that 1st pressing presence to the fore. My  play-check found no evidence whatsoever of any groove/playwear or a single clicks, tick or pop. In fact, apart from a touch of low-level vinyl background on the run-ins and between tracks, it is flawless

Cover: EXCELLENT +

A superb example of this naughty cover which retains an unscratched and unworn high-gloss laminate, inside & out

The front panel is glossy and unworn with just four light spine wrinkles but no 'thumbnails' or any other trace of wear

The rear panel is just a glossy but has one or two light scratches from storage, but again no 'thumbnails'

There is light shelfwear to the lower corners & rear opening but both seams are unsplit and unstressed

Both inside panels are glossy and unworn with just a single 'thumbnail' wrinkle on Jimi's portrait & a small wrinkle to the right of Noel

Inner-sleeves: VERY GOOD/EXCELLENT

Above left has some age-related marks and a small side seam split but above right is clean & unmarked
