Description
Cry Of Love is the first posthumous album of music by the American guitarist singer-songwriter. Recorded primarily in 1970, it features new material he was working on for his planned fourth studio album release before his death later that year. The final track selection was made by ace sound engineer Eddie Kramer and Experience drummer Mitch Mitchell. Album was released in March 1971, six months after his passing on Sept 18, 1970 of an apparent drug overdose. The album reached #3 on Top 200 Albums chart and has been certified Platinum (1 million sold) by RIAA. Nice, clean first press here.
