Description
...Jimi Hendrix : DOUBLE LP :
Electric Ladyland : STEREO
issued on the UK "Track" label ...
The vinyl is in VG+ / EX condition , some light marks to the A/D side of the vinyl , but nothing bad/deep to cause any problems on play .......The B/C side of the Vinyl is in EX condition .......
please note that at the time this LP was released it was common practice in the UK for the record companies to release multi-record sets in the slightly unusual format of putting side 4 (D) on the back of side 1 (A) and putting side 2 (B) and side 3 (C) together , the aim of this practice was to allow the listener to place both records on a multi-play record player and listen to 2 sides in the "correct" order without having to get up and flip the sides over ......it is not a misspressing it was intended this way.
The fully laminated gatefold Sleeve is EX condition ... , no rips , no tears , no writing , no seam splits and no wear to the spine.
This famous sleeve variation was withdrawn soon after release and replaced with the far more common "Isle of Wight" sleeve.
As well as Hendrix three other major "players" of the era were depicted in puppet form on the front sleeve , they are :-
Bob Dylan / Brian Jones (Rolling Stones) and John Peel (seminal , and very influential UK Disc Jockey)
