I am happy to state these are both in beautiful condition and are NM. The labels are clean and the playable surfaces are shines and clean. Under bright light I can see few minor marks which aren't heard when playing. Play tested before listing and all sides are great. Very little surface noise can be heard during quiet sections. No cracks, pops, skips or jumps. I've only played them myself 2-3 times including this test. Sounding great for 60+ year old records.
I've owned these for almost ten years now and I believe I am only the second owner. These records came to me when a good friend of mine received his uncles Cadillac and record collection upon his passing. The owner of the collection was born, raised, and spent his whole life in Syracuse NY, which happens to be Jimmy Cavallo and BSD labels hometown. He was a lover of Elvis, chuck berry and Little Richard as they were well represented by well loved records in the collection. (The little Richard are now all part of mine) Beyond that he dabbled in a little of this and a little of that and he wasn't too focused. Many records seemed unplayed and we guess he liked buying maybe more then listening (or at least listening to Elvis). These two records were sitting together in one of the 30+ 45 cases and looked like they had never really been handled. He had no other Jimmy Cavallo (or Cavello :) ) so I suspect these came to him based on his location. Maybe a show, maybe a local shop recommended a local artist. Either way he didn't enjoy them enough to listen much or buy anymore of his records. In the collection I found no evidence he bought second hand. No initials or names on any of the records except sometimes his. Time has come for me to part with them and they are offered together as a pair as I hope they stay together forever.
Together these records have a book value of 700-900 and are in really great condition. These are records that come up maybe once a year on eBay. This is a chance to own both of the BSD singles he released in a condition I suspect you'd be hard pressed to come across again. They will not be re-listed at a lower price, fair warning. They are actually pretty good tunes too! Jack White does a good cover of Leave Married Women Alone.
Shipping is $2 to the USA and I offer global shipping via the eBay shipping program. If you have any other international shipping concerns please reach out and ask.
