Jimmy Page Yardbirds, released for Record Store Days in 2011 and 2014 featuring The Yardbirds last album, Little Games and 2 singles also from '67 with the same albums b sides. Clapton is gone, Jeff Beck just left which puts Jimmy Page up solo in the guitar slot, by himself with guitarist Chris Dreja switching to bass. Parlophone decides to pair them with singles producer Mickie Most. Singles at this point are no longer the way music is produced and the band wants to explore but the producer just wants hits. And that clash ends the band and opens the door for Led Zeppelin to arrise. With tunes from the album, White Summer and Drinking Muddy Water being played at Zep concerts with Black Mountainside. Which is an extention of White Summer in itself. If you want to see what Page was doing immediately prior to him and Robert, John and John moving forward with Zep buy this as many people did in 68 and 69 to the point where they were bootlegging them they were in such demand. The album is pressed in multicolor vinyl and limited to 2500 worldwide. The Ten Little Indians single, a Harry Nilsson song released the same year, was rereleased for Record Store Day 2011 with only 1600 being pressed for the US and another 1200 worldwide. It was the song where Page decided to reverse the solo track so the echo come up first before the note, a studio trick he would later use on, You Shook Me, Whole Lotta Love and When The Levee Breaks with Zep. Then the Manfred Mann track written by Tony Hazzard, Ha Ha Said The Clown, also with a Little Games album b side as the last single. The song also released by Manfred Mann in 1967, you can almost see Mickie Mosts desperation for the Yardbirds to chart a single for this album to no avail. Also released for Record store Day 2011 was limited as the last one to 1600 US and 1200 more worldwide. They are all new, unplayed and out of print with the album being sealed and the singles being released unsealed with the picture sleeves in plastic jackets. Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
