Released on the rare and highly collectible H.E.M. Records label, Rock A Bye Baby b/w Darling is a standout example of late 1950s or early 1960s regional rock and roll. Jimmy Ridley and The Sentinels deliver a charming performance that bridges the gap between classic rock and roll energy and the melodic sensibilities of soft rock. This 45 RPM single, catalog number HEM-101, is a prized find for collectors of obscure independent labels and early American rock music. The A-side features a driving rhythm and earnest vocals, while the B-side, Darling, offers a more subdued, atmospheric listening experience. Authentic pressings from H.E.M. Records are seldom seen in high-grade condition, making this a significant addition to any comprehensive archive.
