Description
This is Vanguard Records VRS-8518, Jimmy Rushing Goin' To Chicago, a red, deep groove label, original mono issue of this marvelous blues vocal session featuring Sam Price and Buddy Tate. The record is in near mint condition showing almost no signs of wear and playing quietly throughout. The cover has 6" of tape on the bottom seam, but is otherwise excellent and intact. The labels are excellent. The original discographical inner sleeve is included. A wonderful collector's grade copy of this classic original issue. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is part of a large Jazz record collection I will be listing over the next few months. Please check our other listings. We discount shipping for multiple orders. Thanks for looking.
