This iconic live jazz-funk album was recorded at Club Mozambique in Detroit and later became legendary after the Beastie Boys sampled the title track “Root Down.”

Jimmy Smith, widely considered the king of the Hammond B3 organ, delivers an electrifying performance blending jazz, funk, and soul.
