Description
Early US Blue Note pressings of this Jimmy Smith album from 1956 are getting harder to find, so this copy is well worth snapping up. The thick card sleeve is in really decent order – just a little edge and corner wear.
The vinyl plays really nicely despite a couple of surface scratches that look like they'll cause problems – as it turns out the deep Blue Note grooves cope admirably and there's no impact of note on the audio.
Decent labels and a plain white inner sleeve.
A great live album of the incredible organ player backed by Thornel Schwartz (guitar) and Donald Bailey (drums). Collectable!
