Description

Joanie Pallatto, "Whisper Not" (Southport SSD 0007) Excellent LP of modern jazz vocals by the adventurous Chicago singer, Joanie Pallatto. "Whisper Not" also features a rather amazing an all-star supporting cast including Famadou Don Moye (Art Ensemble of Chicago), sax legend Von Freeman, Howard Levy (of Bela Fleck & The Flecktones), Willie Pickens, Eldee Young (Young-Holt Unlimited), Robert Shy, Bradley Parker-Sparrow, and Larry Gray. The COOL cover is Mint-minus. The vinyl is Mint-minus, as well -- I only give a Mint grade to sealed items, but this vinyl is pristine. Sight graded. Strict grading. Now-RARE on vinyl and frankly HARD-TO-FIND in any format.
