This is the original 1969 UK issue with the white & purple 't' Tansatlantic labels and the A-1/B-1 matrices & A-1/A-1 stampers of the very first presses.....

One Step On was Jody Grind's debut album, recorded in August and released in November 1969. Hammond Organ player Tim Hinkley formed the band in London in 1968 with Ivan Zagni on guitar & Barry Wilson on drums. They were signed by Transatlantic in April 1968 and played gigs around the clubs before recording their debut album. Both Zagni & Wilson quit soon after its release, but Hinkley continued with Bernie Holland & Pete Gavin early in 1970, recording their second album Far Canal, but the band finally collapsed soon after its release.....

The MacNeill Press Ltd laminated gatefold sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some light corner/edge wear and light laminate storage rubbing on the outer cover and very light storage rubbing on the inner cover. The spine is intact, but partly crushed and still readable. The plain company record inner is intact, discoloured & in VG+ condition.   The record is in visually EX condition, with only a couple of faint sleeve removal hairlines and one or two light needle scuffs visible on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of only one or two very faint spindle markings on each side.   The sound reproduction is EX, still clear & precise throughout, with definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some very  brief background noise during the run in grooves.
Overall, a very clean, loud & clear listen!   The matrix nos. are; TRA-210, A-1 stamper A-1, B-1 stamper A-1. This is one of the first few hundred copies pressed of the original 1969 UK stereo issue of this album!

  All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!!   UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2kg.

Royal Mail post to Europe (All EU countries & non EU countries, including Finland, Norway, Sweden, etc.), the Rest of the World (Zone 1, including Canada, Japan, Brazil, Korea, China, South Africa, etc.) and the Rest of the World Zone 2 (Australia & New Zealand etc), and the USA in Zone 3.

All Airmail is limited to 5 or 6 lp's due to 2kg weight restrictions.
