Description
Welcome Rare Vinyl Fans & Fiends Alike.
HERE you will often FIND offered BETTER CONDITION RECORDS than many other
(visually graded only) sources offer, WHICH ARE FREQUENTLY TOP COPIES & VIRTUALLY new or LIKE-NEW
and unplayed or played very few times, AND/OR THE BEST COPIES POSSIBLE of many choice records.
Purchased: used. This is a now very rare 39 year old original UK copy of a classic sought after progressive/psychedelic rock lp on a collectable label featuring among it's personnel a young Tim Hinkley on keyboards/bass pedals & lead vocals who's lent his prodigious talents to many other albums and bands but this one was the best band IMHO that he was ever in and this was their first of 2 great lps. Also has Louis Cennamo (x-Renaissance, pre-Steamhammer-Speech and pre-Illusion) lending his electric bass wizardry to 3 tracks including an incredible cover of the Stones classic Paint It Black!
Label/# + Year of release/Date of pressing: UK Transatlantic TRA 210/1969.
Cover condition: EX(+)/Fully laminated outer has minor creasing either side of spine, an impacted/crunched worn bottom left corner, a mild 1 3/4 inch split in middle of bottom seam which just shows a hint of daylight when viewing from inside of record pocket. It also has a hint of ringwear and a 2 1/4 inch horizontal scuff/scratch in the middle at top of front which is quite inobtrusive and is almost like a mild crease in the lamination, whereas EX+(+) non-laminated inner has only slight wear and a couple of minor creases.
Spine condition: EX+/Fully readable with only miniscule rub off at top but almost 1/4 inch at rounded impacted bottom.
Inner sleeve: NM/Original plain white paper sleeve has been replaced with a newer paper one + a plastic lined one!
Record condition: EX+ to NM/Appears and plays predominently M- with only a few pops/clicks on A1 mostly near beginning where there's a few minor visual anomalies to the vinyl. Otherwise just some very minor hairlines/sleevemarks! All things told, this is a pretty fine copy which should satisfy all but the most finicky vinyl fiend!
Label/condition: NM/With only some minor wear marks around hole.
Matrix #'s: STRA 210-A1/STRA 210-B1. These are machine stamped as were the one's on my last listing Circus!

MY PRESERVATION POLICY on many records that I revered was simple and I share it so that you understand why you take virtually no risk buying from me providing the album was bought new and not used originally. When I'd buy a "new" album and it was something I liked a lot and still available I'd initially play it between 15-25 times to become familiar with it and then sell it to a friend as a still EX+ well preserved nice copy. (Inner & outer plastic sleeves were standard procedure additionally limiting wear.) Then I'd buy another new copy and in some cases if a particular favorite then yet another, meaning that I only played the 2nd copy (now my 1st) 5-10 times and the 3rd (now my 2nd if I kept 2) once or twice, always initially taping or now currently burning to disc1 copy within the 1st couple of plays thus significantly limiting play to this day on most of my lps. I did/do this with many single copy rarities as well so most play was/is on tapes or cd-rs. I bought a lot of cds of favorite things also which further helped preserve my vinyl .
SO, MOST OF MY ALBUMS ORIGINALLY BOUGHT NEW, STILL ACCURATELY APPEAR VIRTUALLY NEW AND UNPLAYED, AND MOST WERE HONESTLY PLAYED NO MORE THAN 5-10 TIMES AND OFTEN ONLY TWICE OR THRICE AND ARE STILL NEAR MINT!!
