Joe Houston on Combo Records LP-100. 12" LP plus original alternate photo cover. This was also the first album that Combo label produced. Beautiful covers front and back are nice and clean, very nice color and no fading. Cover has thin blue plastic tape around all edges. This IS NOT by accident or for repair. Apparently, the thin cover they made for this was prone to coming apart easily, an issue that must have been seen at the factory. I have seen about a handful of other copies that were like this, so this is not a one off. Also, the gentleman who I purchased this from bought it new in 1955 and said it came this way from the record shop. Purple label record is in excellent condition and appears to have little play time. Record still has plenty of gloss. Rare to find in this condition!!! Record is in a paper sleeve and separated from album inside a clear resealable sleeve. Well wrapped for secure delivery.
