Description: 1952 mono 1st pressing on Combo Records. This is the first print, black font cover with deep groove purple label.  Early and tough-to-find r&b/rock n' roll LP.  It was the first LP issued by the label and the only LP released in Combo's 1st 4 years of operation.  

Sleeve Condition: G, The sleeve has nice color with no bends or writing.  The spine is readable and the top is free of any splits.  The back is pretty nice for the age as well.  There is a major issue with the bottom portion of the sleeve though.  There is considerable wear from water damage at the bottom edge.  This is visible on the front and back.  It is mainly on the right had 7" or so of the sleeve.  I'm guessing on an overall grade here of G.  I'm not sure exactly where this would fall, but want to be conservative.  SEE THE PICS FOR EXACT SLEEVE DETAILS.

Vinyl: VG+, visually, the vinyl looks quite nice.  Both sides are very clean, nice original shine on vinyl.  Each side has one tiny mark in the playing surface.  There are quite a few very fine marks in the runoff area though, visible under direct light.  There is also a small chip right on the edge of the lead-in vinyl.  None of these issues affect play at all.  Has some light 1950's technology noise in places, but by and large, sounds really good throughout.  Labels are clean and deep purple.  No writing or stickers, barely even any sign-of having been played.  Don't miss out on grabbing this one today!!
