Red label with Storyville logo around the edge of the label, deep groove, original issue. Joe Newman, trumpet on all 10 tracks. 6 tracks also include John Lewis, piano; Gene Quill, alto sax; Frank Foster, tenor sax; Billy Byers, trombone; Freddie Green, guitar; Milt Hinton, bass; Osie Johnson, drums. 4 tracks also includes Frank Wess, tenor sax, flute; Sir Charles Thompson, piano; Ed Jones, bass; Shadow Wilson, drums.
Cover: VG(-) Intact with a number nex to each tune in the tune schedule on the back cover. Light aging on the back cover with a small, light stain near part of the bottom edge.
Record: VG++ to Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. No markings on the vinyl surface. On Side A, Track 2, 2 clicks at the end of the Track. Side B, Track 2, slight groove noise on the first 2 or 3 revolutions, barely audible. 1 click on Track 3. Slight groove noise on the first 2 or 3 revolutions on Track 4 , 1 click mid track, and a faint click at the end of the Track with slight groove noise. 2 clicks on Track 5. Audibly checked.
