The "Holy Grail" of DC Funk! Up for sale is a rare, 100% original 1973 US first pressing of the self-titled debut by Sir Joe Quarterman & Free Soul. This isn't a reissue—it’s the authentic GSF Records release featuring the massive funk anthem "(I Got) So Much Trouble In My Mind."
Condition Report
• Vinyl (VG): The vinyl retains a nice gloss but shows some light surface scratches and scuffs consistent with age. These are primarily cosmetic and typical for a record that has been enjoyed over the decades.
• Sleeve (VG): The iconic "hand-drawn" gatefold cover is structurally sound. Please note visible moisture staining/browning along the bottom edge (see photos). No major splits or tears.
• Labels: Very clean with minimal spindle wear.
