This record looks like it has barely been played. There are perhaps 2, extremely light, almost invisible scratches, and a few very very light smudge type things. It likely sounds close to like new. There was a bit a dust that got into the sleeve during years of storage, but I carefully and gently cleaned it off. VG+
The insert is extremely crispy and looks like new. There are no creases, folds, tears, stains, or veins of any kind and no seam splits which is unusual for a 30 year old record with this type of inner sleeve. It looks like it has barely been handled. NM
The cover is also in great shape but has received a bit of wear during storage. There is Very Light ring wear on front and back. On the front it is so slight that it is hardly noticeable at first glance. On the back it is little more apparent but still Very Light. There was a very slight bend to one corner that has resulted in one long, but faint, vein on the back cover. It is about 3 inches in length and doesn't effect the front side. There is a mere handful of the usual veins on this cover. All are less than a half an inch. The 4 corner tips have Light to Moderate wear, but only at the very tips. The spine edge has only Light wear and all the title text is intact. The shelf edge and top edge have about 1 inch of Moderate wear, but the rest of those edges have only Light wear. Overall this cover is still in great shape and I think it's safe to rate it VG+
This is a very solid copy of this record, overall.

Grades that I use are G-, G, G+, G++, G+++, VG, VG+, VG++, VG+++/EX, NM. I won't be describing anything as M or MINT unless it is unopened and the packaging is completely unblemished. Records that have never been played but HAVE been opened, will be described as Near Mint or NM. These are the adjectives that I use when describing damage: Very Light, Light, Moderate, Severe, Catastrophic. To describe damage in between those ranks I say things like: "Moderate leaning towards Severe," "Moderate leaning towards light," or "In between Light and Moderate"...just for example.
