Description
Bach – Unaccompanied Violin Sonatas (Volume Three) Johanna Martzy, violin Columbia ?– 33CX 1288, UK, Oct 1955 Stamper 1N / 3N -> earliest UK stamper !!
The preowner was an artist. He listened music while he was painting. There is a little bit of white color on the record in side 2 band 2. The record is cleaned, the color dates from the 50ies and did not disappear. The record plays perfect without any surface noise, but in band 2 there is crackling noise first and a few soft pops afterwards. Then the record plays perfect again.
Amazing sound quality - played with mono pick-up ! Sensitive performance - among the best in classical music !
