Description

For auction: Rare private pressing 3 LP box set, "The 25-Year Retrospective Concert of the Music of John Cage, Recorded in Performance at Town Hall, New York, May 15th, 1958". The set is comprised of three LP's (all in their original glassine paper sleeves) and includes copious notes, photos and copies of scores of the pieces in the performance. Condition of the set is crisp and pristine throughout, showing only the slight yellowing of this past nearly half-century on the cover (box) itself, as well as some very slight fraying at the top and bottom of the spine. Spine has "John Cage" handwritten in ink along top three inches. Satisfaction is guaranteed. *** This set will not be shipped without insurance ***; rates to be calculated after the sale. A note about my recently changed user name: For years I've done bits of ebay business unassociated to my regular "brick and mortar" retail store, Enterprise Records, est. 1987. I've now decided to combine the two. Check out my store's site at enterpriserecords.net. Thanks. Bob
