Description
This is the very rare pressing of Helen Of Troy, which includes the track "Leaving It up To You" . Island records promptly discontinued issuing further copies, when they wised up to the controversial and tasteless lyrics referencing Sharon Tate's murder at the hands of Charles Manson & co.
The track was replaced with a less offensive track on subsequent pressings.
Regardless of Cale's tact or lack of it - this is a truly brilliant album that ranks with the former Velvet's greatest works. No filler here, and like so much of Cale's work it still sounds fresh today - incredibly this was recorded 41 years ago!
Both vinyl and jacket are in excellent condition.
I'm moving house shortly and reluctantly having to sell my much loved record collection as I'll no longer have space to store them all. I will be selling thousands of titles over the course of the next yr. and there will be some serious bargains to be picked up at the prices I'm listing them for. Good luck!
