28

ARTIST: John Carpenter & Alan Howarth
LABEL: Varese Sarabande STV 81134 (1981)
TITLE: Escape From New York
CONDITION:
Sleeve: The front cover is a nice VG++ w/ some light ring wear. The back cover is VG+ w/ some light ring and a spot of discoloration at the top right corner. Has a little light top & bottom seam wear. The spine is clean & intact w/ nice readable graphics
Record: This LP looks Mint- and by the spindle hole it looks like this LP may have never been played. Side A does start off w/ some background surface noise but pretty quickly settles into playing mostly Mint- w/ a few short passages of very light random surface noise. Side B plays about the same w/ just a bit more short passages of very light random background surface noise. Probably averages a VG++ play. / VPI cleaned
COMMENTS: Original 1981 Varese Sarabande copy of this great Electronic Synth soundtrack LP from director, composer and performer John Carpenter along with Alan Howarth.
Please see pics for other session info. Email me if you can't read them and require more info
NOTE: VPI cleaned means that this record was cleaned on a professional $500 VPI cleaning machine, which does wonders for the playback of all vinyl records!
