John Carpenter Lost Themes III LTD Transmission Nuclear Vinyl LP & Art Print NEW. Condition is "New". Dispatched with Royal Mail
Art Print 96/500
First new LP of non-film music from John Carpenter in 5 years!
Alongside his son Cody Carpenter and godson Daniel Davies he delivers a punchy synth-based masterpiece with Lost Themes III, the sound is huge, the songs confident, intricate yet bombastic, this is a record that needs to be played LOUD & often. Transmission is honoured that Sacred Bones have given us an exclusive package of this new LP. Not only do we have an exclusive 'Nuclear Warning black & yellow vinyl colour but we also have a numbered art print. This edition is strictly limited to 500 copies and we do not expect it to hang around!
For nearly 4 decades Carpenter has been on the cutting edge of electronic music and he doesn't look like he is slowing down anytime soon.
This album hasn't left our (virtual) turntable since we first heard it in Septemeber. Possibly the best Lost Themes album yet released.
“We begin with a theme, a bass line, a pad, something that sounds good and will lead us to the next layer,” John says of the trio’s process. “We then just keep adding on from there. We understand each other’s strengths and weaknesses, how to communicate without words, and the process is easier now than it was in the beginning. We’ve matured.”
