This lot is for the Original Soundtrack Recording LP for John Carpenter's 'Escape from New York' 1981 in association with Alan Howarth.
Sleeve - in very good condition, still partly wrapped in cellophane with original price sticker. Good bright colours. There is a slight 'bend' through the cover probably caused by the cellophane but this has not gone onto the record. The cellophane has cast a strange shadow on the photo which is not actually there - the sleeve colours are solid throughout.
Vinyl - looks very good generally, apart from a series of small scratches that go about 1/3rd of the way through track 1, side 1 (see photo). This will probably cause this early part of the first track to jump, but there is no damage to the rest of the record, so please bear this in mind when bidding.
I am having a clear out of my entire vinyl record collection that has been stored at my parents house for the past 25yrs, some of it longer. I am not a record expert, I usually sell vintage toys and comics, and I don't have time to go over everything with a fine toothcomb, particularly in my bulk lots, so if you have any specific questions please ask. These items have been stored in a dark, dry environment and are from a pet and smoke free home.
None of these records have been play tested, and most won't have been played since the 1980's.
