I have ebay experience and record-listening experience, but I am by no means an aficionado, so I am not 100% on how to grade this. So, I will be honest and describe it as best as I can...
I bought this last week at an antique store. I listened to it immediately, because, you know: great record. On a whim I looked it up on ebay. Then I listened again, more closely, jotting down notes about flaws.
Side 1:
The standard light crackling when the needle is 'dropped.'
Once the track starts, it sounds great. Some crackling between tracks. But again, once the song starts, it sounds great.
Side 2: Again, the standard light crackling at the beginning. Once the drums start, it sounds great. There's no track break, but there is some quiet between Parts III and IV, during which you can hear crackling. Also, you can hear crackling during the bass solo.
Once everyone else comes in, it sounds great.
