Up for sale is a rare 1965 vinyl LP of John Coltrane's "A Love Supreme" on Sparton Impulse! Cat # A-77 with a yellow label.
This is a limited edition release made in London, Canada in 1965 and recorded Dec 9, 1964, and the vinyl matrix number is A-77 A VAN GELDER LW 001-1. The record is in excellent condition and plays at 33 RPM. There is a 1/2” ripple and a pinhead pop in vinyl Side II first track near end but plays through with no problems! (See Photo Enlargements).
The sleeve is Gatefold also in excellent condition with good sheen, but does have corner bumps. This LP features Coltrane's iconic tenor saxophone playing and is a must-have for any jazz or free jazz fan. Don't miss your chance to own this piece of music history!
