John Coltrane - Coltranes Sound
This is the 2019 Japan release in original mono form. The record comes from factory in a resealable outer shrink with the lp inside its poly inner liner sensibly placed outside of the jacket inside the shrink, thus preventing seem splits! Due to this resealable bag it made sense to open carefully to inpect the Lp itself, pressed at Optimal in Germany who havent done great during covid times with alot of QC non fill issues plaguing their pressings of late. This one however, is flawless. It has absolutely NOT been played but it absolutely is as new... no... BETTER than new because it has had not one, not two, but three deep washes in the Degritter which will transform the sound for the better... immeasurably cleaner and clearer. I have not played this particular example to keep it totally as new.
The jacket appears as new of course.
