Description
This is Impulse Records A-66, John Coltrane Crescent, an orange and black, ABC-Paramount label, original mono issue of this great recording with Van Gelder stamped in the dead wax. The record is in VG++ condition showing no signs of wear, but with a few pressing bubbles evident, keeping me from grading it near mint.These marks do not affect the play. The record plays quietly throughout. The glossy gate-fold cover has a small bump on the top fold and a small split on the paper fold on the inside but is otherwise excellent and intact. The labels are excellent with no spindle marks. An original inner sleeve is included. The record was played on a Linn Sondek LP12 in mono mode and cleaned on a VPI 17. This is a superb collector's grade copy of this classic record. This is part of my personal collection that I will be selling (slowly) over the next few months and years.
