John Coltrane Quartet Live At Birdland Impulse A-50 stereo orange and black label
John Coltrane (ts) McCoy Tyner (p), Jimmy Garrison (b), Elvin Jones, (d) Recorded 1963
Orange and black label with "Mfd by Capitol Records" both sides. This was pressed by Capitol for their record club and does not use the Impulse catalog number on the labels. "ABC-Paramount Records, Inc." on back cover.
Record looks and plays VG++/M-. Quality pressing for the Capitol Record Club. No scratches or scuffs. Record looks little played.
The laminated gatefold cover is VG+. It's a standard Impulse cover.
The front cover is shiny and bright with light to moderate wear. There's an area of app 3 to 4 inches at the spine where the laminate has come away from the slick and is torn. On the spine, there's book repair library tape with the title and artist printed on it, even though there's nothing wrong with the spine. The back cover has moderate wear. Inside, the foldout is bright and clean. No split seams. Tiny spots of wear at the corners of the spine.

My highest grade is M- and I rarely grade 50s or 60s records M-. Records are graded visually using the Goldmine system. M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG- etc. I play grade any potential problem areas. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. You will be satisfied. No hassles.
