Description
1972 (?) "Monarch" variant pressing of the "free" classic from 1967, having slightly different labels, and catalogue numbers from the standard pressings of the period.
The disc has two hairline scratches on side one, as shown in the pictures; I've deliberately highlighted them in the interests of "disclosure", and should mention they look nowhere near as significant/ problematic as they appear in the pictures; the one at the edge of the disc is, from memory, audible (mainly because of the spoken word intro), but not especially significant, and the other is inaudible given the ferocity/ volume of the performance on the session; it truly is a thing to behold! The second side is free of any marks, scuffs, scratches, etc.
The sleeve has some ringwear, and the laminate is peeling on the back sleeve, as shown in the pictures.

Catalog number A-9140 shows on front and back cover, and spine. Catalog number (Matrix #) AS-9140-A and AS-9140-B show on labels.
Impulse! / ABC Records labels with split-box logos at top and no date in rim text. Label rim text is: "A Product of ABC Records, Inc. New York, N.Y. 10019 • Made in USA"
