John Coltrane (with Red Garland, Paul Chambers, Arthur Taylor) SOULTRANE Prestige 7142, recorded 1957. Bergenfield silver-on-navy label. “RVG” stamped into the wax. Jacket is E+: unlaminated; edges and corners are strong, but spine has surface cracking for the whole length.. Red ballpoint discount notation on lower back corner. Disc looks NM- and plays NM-. Impressively quiet. Excellent shine to the groove surface. B-1 has a a dust tic from edge for about 6 rev.s. B side overall is E+: very occasional light crackle.
