Description
Be sure to look at my other auctions! I have many great titles for sale this week.
Artist: John Coltrane
Title: Coltrane
Label/Catalog #: Prestige 7105
Mono/Stereo: Mono
Details: 1958 pressing with New Jersey labels, deep groove, RVG. This has the original 447 West 50th cover. Ultrasonic cleaned.
Record condition: Side 1 has one noticeable scratch on the final track which is not deep and does not affect play, otherwise VG++. Side 2 is EX. There is one very light streak, otherwise pristine. Play graded in full. Plays EX to NM almost fully. Track 2 has some very light ticks heard briefly and barely, the rest is outstanding beginning to end. Great copy!
Cover: Strong VG+. Very clean! Lower seam has rubbing but no splits. Spine and top seam are perfect outside of upper corner wear. Front and back are in great shape, tiny fraying and mild aging. Nice set!
Labels: See photos

Record Grading Scale:
M- ESSENTIALLY A BRAND NEW RECORD, BUT HAS BEEN OPENED.
NM THE RECORD IS IMMACULATE, NEARLY PERFECT WITH THE SURFACE RETAINING FULL GLOSS AND NO SURFACE SCRATCHES
NM- THE RECORD SURFACE RETAINS A HIGH GLOSS, PERHAPS ONE OR TWO EXTREMELY FAINT MARKS, STILL EXTREMELY CLEAN
EX ESSENTIALLY A NM- SOUNDING COPY, BUT MIGHT SHOW A SMALL NUMBER OF VERY FINE SURFACE MARKS. STILL VERY CLEAN VISUALLY AND DYNAMIC AUDIBLY.
VG++ THE RECORD RETAINS MUCH OF ITS ORIGINAL SHINE, FEW LIGHT SURFACE MARKS AND OR LIGHT SCRATCHES MAY BE NOTED ON FAIRLY CLOSE EXAMINATION
VG+ THE RECORD STILL RETAINS SOME SHINE, SURFACE MARKS & SCRATCHES MAY OCCUR BUT ARE LIMITED AND TEND TO BE MODERATE TO LIGHT. RECORD WILL PLAY VERY WELL WITH VERY LIGHT SURFACE NOISE MOSTLY HEARD DURING A QUIET PASSAGE.
VG AVERAGE USED RECORD FROM HEAVY ROTATION, MAY HAVE STARTED TO LOSE ORIGINAL SHINE, SOME OBVIOUS SURFACE MARKS AND/OR SURFACE SCRATCHES WHICH MAY CAUSE SURFACE SOUNDS, ESPECIALLY IN SOFT PASSAGES
VG- THE RECORD HAS BEEN PLAYED SEVERAL TIMES, THE VINYL MAY APPEAR DULL, MAY HAVE LOTS OF TINY MARKS OR SURFACE SCRATCHES WHICH MAY BE FELT, SURFACE MARKS MAY BE HEAVY AND SURFACE NOISE MAY BE NOTICEABLE THROUGHOUT
