Description
Up for auction is a rare original deep groove mono pressing of John Coltrane 'Soultrane' LP on Prestige Records PRLP-7142. Other musicians include Red Garland, Paul Chambers, and Arthur Taylor.
Record info:
Strong VG+ with no scuffs but does have visible residue from being stored in the original wax paper inner sleeve for years. It does have some surface noise but plays great! I almost kept this one.
Cover info:
Excellent condition with solid seams except for about 1/4 split on top right at jacket opening. The back cover has some age staining but overall the condition of this cover is incredible!
Label / Pressing info:
Original 203 South Washington Ave, Bergenfield NJ address label, deep groove, with RVG initials on both sides in the dead wax area.
Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.
Shipping for US customers is $4 for media mail or $10 for Priority mail. For high value items I would recommend adding insurance.
