NOTE: Coltrane is stunning on his soprano sax!- is a Jazz waltz and more fun throughout than My Favorite Things. McCoy Tyner's solo is first rate - much more melodious than his later output under his own name. The brass section effectively evokes, well, African spirits, especially on the last track, the modal Africa which fills Side Two: Elvin Jones' drum playing, Trane's hymn-like tenor sax improvisations, and Reggie Workman, Eric Dolphy, and Art Davis arrangements deserve extra mentioning”.
SIDE 1 and 2: 2 x Excellent (EX), The vinyl is in excellent condition and looks never played with only a few touches of wear. Vinyl is virtually flawless, bright, and shiny. The labels are clean and unmarked. There is some very light (minimal) background noise occasionally during playback I played both sides of the record several times and Both sides play through beautifully with no skips or pops that impact the sound quality.
CONDITION OF SLEEVE: Very Good Plus (VG+) Some creases and light scrape marks around cover art from handling, corner bends. All spines are mostly 100% intact with no, to very minimal, shelf wear fray, title spine mostly legible. grade appearance of the artwork. Cut off right corner
