John Coltrane on Blue Note 1577
This is the deep-groove RVG-stamped mono “P”-pressing of John Coltrane “Blue Train” on the West 63rd (no INC) labels of Blue Note BLP 1577. There are a few light tics on the intro to Side 1 and 2, and an occasional non-repetitive tic elsewhere, but the music is clean and bright throughout. The West 63rd laminated cover shows ¼” wear at the top right corner, 1” split at the center and 2” split/wear at the bottom of the spine, and 1 ½” split/wear on the bottom seam, at the opening; light shelf wear on the back slick and previous owner’s name printed at the top right corner.
