Description
This is the original Van Gelder-stamped AmPar stereo pressing of John Coltrane “Coltrane” on the coated labels of Impulse AS-21. The playing surface is in excellent condition, with a beautiful luster; the first track on Side 2 has four small scuffs that produce a few very light tics. The laminated gatefold is also in excellent condition – clean and bright throughout; 1/8” wear at the bottom corners, ¼” wear at the top left corner, and ½” wear on the top seam, at the opening. ABC inner sleeve is included. Personnel include McCoy Tyer, Jimmy Garrison, and Elvin Jones. $100.00.
