Description
This is the original Van Gelder-stamped stereo pressing of the rare first edition John Coltrane “Ascension” on the orange and black labels of Impulse AS-95. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a nice luster; perhaps played once. The laminated gatefold cover is clean and bright, with sharp corners and perfect seams; inside is stamped “SAMPLE Not For Resale” on the right; opposite are two small discolorations. Original illustrated inner sleeve is included. Personnel include Freddie Hubbard, Marion Brown, John Tchicai, Archie Shepp, and Pharoah Sanders. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL.
