Estate find.

Original 1963 stereo issue, orange & black label, NO deep groove, VAN GELDER stamped in dead wax; plain paper inner sleeve; PROMOTION black ink stamp & PROPERTY OF PENN STATE JAZZ CLUB red ink stamp on inside of gatefold cover. While this copy was obviously used for promotional purposes, it is not a typical "promo copy" of earliest pressing run vintage.

John Coltrane Quartet with McCoy Tyner, Jimmy Garrison & Elvin Jones.

Record is VG to VG+: VERY SHINY & CLEAN with various superficial inaudible visual only scuff marks which don't affect play. No skips. Almost no spindle wear. Plays great!!!

Cover is VG: top & bottom seams partially split; minor edge, corner & ring wear; otherwise clean & sturdy. 

No reserve.
