John Jenkins on New Jazz 8232

This is the original deep-groove RVG-stamped pressing of John Jenkins “Jenkins, Jordan and Timmons” on the purple and sliver labels of New Jazz NJLP 8232.  The playing surface is as-new, flawless, with a high luster; perhaps played once; still in the original glassine inner sleeve.  The laminated cover is also extraordinary; near-new throughout, with sharp corners and perfect seams; slight 2” superficial crease at the lower right corner; “Preview Copy” stamped at the top of the back slick.

Personnel include Clifford Jordan, Bobby Timmons, Wilbur Ware, and Dannie Richmond.
