Description
Simply put direct disk or direct to record master recording is the purest, best way to record music. The only limitation is that you can only get a limited number of pressing from that record master disk, so it is limited in available disks. Fortunately, you have one of these rare disks available to you and in terrific condition. Most important, John Klemmer is a virtuoso, composer and saxophonist that rose to universal fame and recognition in the last 60's and through the 1970's and 80's. He collaborated with Steely Dan, John Lee Hooker, and Nancy Wilson amongst others. Hi playing was sampled excessively by rap artists in the 1990's. He became associated with "smooth jazzy" and innovated many effects such as echoplex with the saxophone. Music on this disk is excellent and fitting for direct-to-disk recording.
