Description
You are bidding on a superbly hand-signed ORIGINAL signature of John Lennon on the back cover of the LP 'Imagine'. If there is one album of John's to have signed and framed on your office, bedroom or music room wall, then, in my opinion, it is this album.
The signature appears to have been signed with a black felt tip pen and is clean in every way. No wet smudging. It is excellent in every way and the two 'kisses' show that John took his time in signing this one (most likely for a pretty woman...).
The album is not excellent in every way however. The vinyl appears well played with many scuffs and scratches; the paper insert that has thecredits and lyrics on it is missing and the front of the album has a triangle of the gloss plastic protection torn away. The back cover is in a fine condition however and that's what counts. You could probably pick up a near mint unsigned copy of this album cheaply and easily if you wanted to combine everything and have one copy in tip top shape.
That said, I've decided to start the auction with a low bidding price and you can determine it's value. I cannot offer a Certificate of Authenticity (for what it's worth) nor can I give you a history for this album. I bought it on Ebay but now find that I need to sell it to finance a new purchase. I have photographed both sides of the album so you can see it's flaws.
