Description
John Lennon/ Plastic Ono Band - Imagine
(Apple PAS 10004 UK LP 1971)
This is a UK original LP pressing. It has a laminated sleeve which has a pinched top & bottom spine. It comes with its original lyric/ picture paper inner sleeve. It also comes complete with the giant fold-out poster & postcard.
The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has 1st press -1U/ -1U matrix stampers. "Porky" & "Pecko" are etched in the dead wax. A genuine UK 1st pressing.
Sleeve: There is a very tiny tear on the front. Otherwise some mild wear only. VG+ condition.
Vinyl: There are some light to mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light, and a couple of light hairline marks. There are also some very minor pressing marks. VG condition. There is some slight sticker residue on Side 2's label. Otherwise mild spindle wear. Plays very well overall. There is some light crackle in the quieter places. There are a few light clicks on one track.
The inner sleeve has a name & the album title written neatly on one side. There is a very small 1" seam split at the bottom edge. In VG+ condition overall. The poster has some creases & foxing on the blank side. It is in VG condition. The Postcard is in near perfect condition.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
