John Lennon Imagine LP 1971 1st Pressing c/w Inner Sleeve, Poster and Postcard. Outer sleeve condition: Record has been in a plastic sleeve since I bought it almost 40 years ago. Outer sleeve in very good condition. Lamination still in excellent condition with only about 6 very minor creases on the rear at edges. Opening in very good condition with only 1 minor nick near the top. Rear of sleeve has Lennon looking to the right rather than the top. Also, lettering on rear at LHS opening rather than along the bottom edge. Both these factors indicate an original sleeve. Spine in excellent condition with original 'pinches' to top and bottom of spine still in excellent condition. See photos. Inner Sleeve condition: Inner still in good condition with only light wear to edges of opening. Inner sleeve also starting to fade/brown with age. However, no major defects, e.g. splits or tears. Disc: I've given the disc a very close inspection and I can find no marks or scratches. There also doesn't appear to be any spindle marks on the labels. Numbers in run out grooves are: A-side 'YEX 865-1U PORKY'  B-side 'YEX 866-1U PECKO' There is also what looks like 'CP 1.1' on the A-side and 'C 11 C' on the B-side. Postcard: Excellent. Poster Very good but with a very minor 'nick' on the edge. Overall Avery nice example of a complete original version of Imagine. Not perfect....but not far off it. I've tried to be as accurate as possible with the description. Please note: The item will be posted with the record removed from the outer and inner sleeves to avoid splitting during transit.
