Description
An original copy of Imagine on the UK Apple label from 1972. Matrix 2U/1U. Etching "Pecko". The record comes housed in an original pinched spine cover which is fully laminated. Also included is the original lyric inner sleeve, the promotional poster, and the photocard.
Cover (Ex) Has been well cared for and remains in excellent condition. Front and back are nice and shiny with only a couple of light creases. All seams/flipbacks are intact and secure. The pinched spine is in excellent condition as you can see from the pics. Overall the cover maintains excellent rigidity and you'll struggle finding a better one.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) Is in immaculate shiny condition and has clearly only seen very light use. Under close inspection I cannot make out a single mark. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one deviation. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. There's minimal interference too. The only thing vaguely noticeable was a bit of light static here and there in IMAGINE. So, this really is a great little player. Don't forget the early original copies are the best sounding by far - even by the mid-seventies they pale in comparison.
Poster (Ex) Hard to find fault there's barely even a tear. It certainly has never ended up on a wall.
Inner (Ex) Some light ageing and a 1 inch split to the bottom seam, but in otherwise excellent condition.
Photo (Ex+) Great condition. No defects.
