With that out of the way what you do have is a beautiful copy of one of the greatest albums ever made.  Being a huge Beatles fan I am biased but what you can't argue with is the quality of this particular example.  It is from my personal collection and was my go to version until I stumbled across a stone cold mint UK original which I will be buried with.  I don't believe in holding duplicates as records should be heard and enjoyed not hoarded away.
I have been though many many examples of this album and all of them have been played to death and the title track always ruined as you cant listen to such a beautiful song with somebody eating rice krispies in your ear.  This includes people selling them as good condition but believe me you wont be disappointed with this beauty and I'm sure you can find a poster somewhere but it's not that important to me.
All of my records are play tested on a Project Debut Carbon with 2M Red stylus which is quite revealing so any sound defects may be more exaggerated than on other more mainstream players.  Or conversely if you are a full on audiophile I will let you judge how your set up compares and how you envisage the sound will compare.
I don't currently have access to a cleaning machine so please forgive any dust or finger marks which are on any of my records - hopefully will be investing in one at some point.
Record Appearance - VG+ This would be Near Mint apart from a medium sized scratch on Side 2 which I am pleased to report does not cause any audible defect.  The rest of the record has a full glossy finish with no other marks under a bright light.  The labels are in perfect condition with hardly any spindle wear suggesting only light use.  Please note the discolouration on the Side 1 label was like that from new and is part of the design.
Record Audio - VG+ I've just played it back as it's been on reserve for a while and annoyingly there is some very faint surface noise during the beginning of Imagine.  I am convinced this is just dust in the grooves and quite a bit of static which a good machine clean would remove.  I remember when I first listened to this copy and I was nearly moved to tears to finally hear Imagine in it's full glory.  With this in mind I would have to down grade from Near Mint to Very Good Plus which is frustrating.  I know it was Near Mint when I bought it.  Once the bass and drum beat kick in those crackles disappear and the depth of sound is just wonderful.  You cant beat an original, many consider the mega expensive MFSL version to even be inferior to the first pressings.
Record Sleeve - VG+ This is a very strong VG+ with only minimal shelf wear which is really unusual for this record.  Don't be fooled by the faded front cover they were like that when new.  Spines and edges are in great condition just the odd nick and crease here and there.  As already mentioned the records are stored in plain white sleeves which are in good condition.
All questions answered and offers considered.  Thanks for looking and please follow me and check out my other listings as they appear.  I am employed full time and have 3 children so please forgive any delay in communication but should be within 24 hours.
I have a particular passion for Beatles and related so if there is something particular you are after I may be able to get my hands on it for you very quickly.  My local dealer has at least 1000 Beatles related vinyl just to name one source.
