Description

John Lennon's classic 1st solo Lp, not counting that Plastic ONO Band live nonsense he did in 1969.Truth In all probably his finest LP he ever did thankfully keeping Yoko knitting in the background .His mate George Harrison helps out with guitar solos and fills .A whole lot of classic Lennon compositions like Give Me Some Truth, Crippled Inside slinging poison darts at McCartney ,Jealous Guy ,of course Imagine the most famous post Beatles track he ever did, How Do You Sleep At Night Lennon at his most acerbic arrow shooting at Paul and the best track on the LP IMO Oh My Love. The fact of the matter is this album was probably his best post Beatle record he ever did proves that his songwriting output sagged after this LP speaks volumes about how much John and Paul the ultimate Ying and Yang duo of all time pushed each other to be great because Paul never achieved anywhere near the heights of greatness post Beatles either.
