Description
All the singles I am listing are from a personal collection and were bought either by myself or my wife. All have been lovingly cared for.
Sixties singles are generally in very good condition. They were mainly played on a multi change record player so they do show sign of being played but have no major marks unless stated. There is some writing on a lot of the labels. The record shop where I bought a lot of my singles used to write a couple of letters on the label. My wife used to put either her name or initials on most singles.
Most are in their original sleeves. They are generally creased around the corners and the colour has faded on some. Several of the sleeves have writing on - usually just the title. Some sleeves are customised with a small picture of the artist stuck on. Some sleeves had labels stuck on at some time.
Singles from 1970 onwards have been played on a single deck and are generally in really excellent condition as they have had relatively few plays.
1969 single Cold Turkey by the Plastic Ono Band on Apple APPLES 1001. Record is in very good condition. There are a few light marks and also 2 heavier marks on side 1 and 1 on side 2. There are initials written on the label. The picture sleeve is creased along the corners and also along the opening.
