Up for sale today are two classic albums from ex Beatle John Lennon. John Lennon / Plastic Ono Band UK Release 1970 YEX 828, Matrix 1U. This was Johns first proper solo album, apart from his experimental albums and Live Peace In Toronto. Produced by the nutty Phil Spector with top notch musicians such as Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, Klaus Voormann and not forgetting Yoko of course. The heavy vinyl is in very good plus condition with scuff marks on side two but no scratches. Hardly any spindle wear. Laminated record sleeve is in fully intact good condition with some creasing. Inner sleeve with printed lyrics and credits in good condition with some yellowing due to age. Also included in this sale is arguably John's best and most iconic album Imagine. UK Release 1971 YEX 866 Matrix 1U. Also produced by Phil Spector with some of the same musicians plus added 'wall of sound' - some critics say it is over produced like so many of Phil Spector projects but it still sounds powerful. The Heavy Vinyl is in very good plus condition with light scuff marks but no scratches. The laminated cover is in overall good condition but with some creasing and damage to top right (see scans). The record comes in an inner sleeve with credits and lyrics. I am to be totally honest in my description and please look at scanned photos and ask me questions.
