Description

Dating from 1970 this is the first US pressing John Lennon & the Plastic Ono Band 'Live Peace in Toronto 1969' on US Apple SW-3369.
I've had this for over 30 years - it was one of a batch of these that surfaced in sealed condition in the 1980s (which does explain why US versions with the calendar are easier to find than the UK version) so was bought 'new' by me. I already had a copy so this one was never played and only unsealed so as to be able to look at the calendar. To my surprise I found that the package also included a postcard to mail off to get the calendar as well - I've not seen this postcard mentioned elsewhere but it is present and included here.
The record looks fantastic and can be assumed to be mint as it is unplayed. It is in the correct Apple/Capitol white paper liner, which is pristine but has some minor edge toning which clearly shows the outline where the postcard rested. The postcard itself is mint, as is the spiral bound calendar. The outer sleeve retains the shrinkwrap which has just been unsealed at the opening end so the sleeve has no rubbing or wear whatsoever, and has no creasing or damage.
Offered at a realistic 'buy-it-now' price - see pictures which form part of the description and show the actual item for sale.
See my other records for sale - where possible I will combine items for postage. In the UK this means that several records can go for the same price as one, although orders over £20 must be sent Signed For. If you buy or win more than one, please await my invoice with the amended postage total.

Will be well packed for postage in proper mailers with extra protection, record and inserts placed outside sleeve to prevent seam splits in transit.

Thanks for looking!

Please pay within 3 days or let me know if there will be a delay. If there is no contact from you at all within 4 days I will assume you don't want the item and will follow the non-paying bidder process to recover my selling fees.
