Original Authentic?? With Matrix Number A8018 & Bell Sound Stamped In Trail Off Wax
The cover does show age and wear There is a crease in John's name on front cover and some corner and edge & spine wear
Side 1 label has an issue also - see photos Side 2 label is fine
Vinyl is in very good condition and does have some lite surface noise that does not effect playback
My father got this back in the 70's when he managed a mom and pop record store
Some one traded it in and he snagged it My father always believed this to be an original
We have had this for over 50 years

Special Notes: I'm sure if you are looking at this listing you know the story behind this album. I have researched this record to the best of my ability and I believe that this is an authentic first pressing of this record.
Here is the itemized list that defines a "real" vs. a "fake" according to my research.
1. Any copy that has the word "GREATEST" instead of "GREAT" on the spine is a fake.
2. Original covers are manufactured with white poster board.
3. On the cover you should be able to see pink flesh on John's shoulder. If not, it's a fake.
4. lf the letters in the word STEREO run together on the front cover, it is a fake.
5. On the back cover, printing on the advertisement album covers is legible, though small. 6. If the record is unusually thick, it is a fake.
7. If the label is unusually large it is a fake.
8. If the trail off wax does not have a "Bell Sound" stamp, it is a fake.
9. All original copies have the matrix number A 8018 pressed into the side 1 label. No fakes have this feature.
10. Most originals had an advertisement inner sleeve.
As the pictures indicate, this record checks every box for an authentic copy with the exception of the advertisement inner sleeve.
