Description
Walls And Bridges is the fourth studio album by the ex-Beatle. It was released on Apple Records in September 1974. It was a number one album on Billboard’s US Top 200 Albums Chart. It features two singles in “Whatever Gets You Through The Night” (Lennon’s first U.S. #1) and #9 Dream ( #9 ironically) to make the top ten on the Hot 100 Singles Chart. The albums design was very creative featuring artwork by Lennon as a child. The front cover contains two flaps which, when folded several interchangeable “Lennon faces”, some of them silly. It also contain a beautiful inner sleeve and booklet with various pictures and more of Lennon’s artwork from his childhood in Liverpool. The album achieved Gold status by the RIAA and was lauded by critics and fans alike. Nice, original first press w all inserts from 1974 here.
